Neuropsychological assessment, tailored to your questions.
Sometimes struggles at school, at work or in daily life don't have an obvious cause. A comprehensive assessment looks closely at how you think, learn and feel, so you can understand yourself better and find the right support.
Our licensed psychologists assess both children and adults, with evidence-based tools and a collaborative approach. There's no waiting list: we can usually schedule within one month.

What can a comprehensive assessment help with?
Learning disorders, questions about attention, autism or mood, and situations where a diagnosis isn't clear yet. Results can guide treatment, and can support requests for help at school or work.
How is it different from an ADHD or autism assessment?
Those focus on one main question. A comprehensive assessment is tailored to your concerns, which may cover several areas at once. In your free call, we'll help you decide which fits.
How long does it take, and what does it cost?
It depends on your questions. After a free phone call, we'll suggest a plan and an estimated flat fee, which covers testing, interpretation, the feedback session and the written report.
Can I be assessed online?
Sometimes. We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant online assessment for eligible clients in California and New York. Whether it's a good fit depends on age, the questions and the type of assessment, and we'll decide together.
Can the assessment be done in Mandarin?
Partly. Some standardized tests must be given in English, but our Mandarin-speaking psychologists can hold the interviews in Mandarin and help facilitate testing.
Will insurance cover the assessment?
We aren't in network with insurance plans for assessments, so the fee is paid out of pocket. We can give you a superbill to ask your plan for reimbursement, and some plans require pre-authorization first. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. If you have Kaiser, you'll need an external referral from Kaiser for psychological assessment, or Kaiser won't reimburse the fee.
