- HSA and FSA cards are accepted.
- Kaiser members need an external referral from Kaiser to be reimbursed.

Something else on your mind? Our FAQ covers much more, and our care team is always happy to talk it through.
Which assessment do I need?
You don't have to figure that out alone. In a free phone call, we'll listen to your questions and recommend the right evaluation.
How soon can I be seen?
There's no waiting list. We can usually schedule your assessment within one month.
Can the assessment be done in Mandarin?
Some standardized tests must be given in English, but our Mandarin-speaking psychologists can hold interviews in Mandarin and help facilitate testing. Autism assessment is available in Mandarin as needed.
Can I be assessed online?
Sometimes. We offer secure, HIPAA-compliant online assessment for eligible clients in California and New York, depending on age, the questions and the type of assessment. Some assessments, such as IQ testing, are in person only.
Will insurance cover the assessment?
We aren't in network with insurance plans for assessments, so the fee is paid out of pocket. We can give you a superbill to ask your plan for reimbursement, and some plans require pre-authorization first. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. If you have Kaiser, you'll need an external referral from Kaiser for psychological assessment, or Kaiser won't reimburse the fee.
What will I receive at the end?
A feedback session to explain the results, and a written report with personalized recommendations you can share with doctors, schools or other care providers.
