About
Hello! I’m Elisha (she/they), a licensed professional clinical counselor and registered dance/movement therapist. I see clients by video in California and in person at our office in Los Altos.
I believe therapy can lead us to deeper self-understanding, greater self-compassion, connection, and peace. I work with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, grief and loss, relationship challenges, life transitions, eating disorders, autism, ADHD, and other forms of neurodivergence or disability.
How I work
My style is somatic, person-centered, and integrative. I enjoy setting goals together and creating a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and validated. I feel a deep responsibility to provide culturally informed care, and I make an effort to learn about your background and identities.
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Expressive arts therapy
- Dance/movement therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Psychodynamic therapy
- Motivational Interviewing
Together, we’ll look at how survival-based responses shape your experiences and relationships, and how to unravel those patterns to find new, authentic, and compassionate ways of being. I believe healing happens through connection, and I aim for sessions that feel grounded, engaged, accepting, and sometimes even humorous.
