About

“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” —Carl Rogers

Hi, I’m Jene, a licensed clinical psychologist. I see clients by video in California, Nevada, and Texas.

Finding peace in our lives takes effort and a commitment to making ourselves a priority. We’re bombarded with messages telling us to put family and work first, but without self-care, our commitments suffer. My passion is helping you understand yourself on a deeper level and engage with your everyday life in a positive way.

How I work

I don’t see therapy as having one prescribed path. We are each unique, with different perceptions and experiences, and I treat those differences as important guides in our work. I use an eclectic mix of evidence-based techniques.

  • Mindfulness-based activities
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Motivational Interviewing

What we can work on

  • Stress and anxiety
  • Depression
  • Trauma
  • Grief and loss
  • Relationship concerns
  • Self-esteem
  • Fears
  • Life transitions
  • Teens facing mental health challenges

The need for change is our mind telling us that what we’re doing right now isn’t working anymore. Let’s work together to move in a new direction.
