About

Hi there! I’m Keruo (Kelly), and I’m really glad you’ve taken this important step. Seeking counseling takes both insight and courage, so take a moment to be proud of yourself. I offer online therapy in English and Mandarin in California and Pennsylvania.

I’ve lived on four continents, and that has given me real, practical experience with cross-cultural adaptation. I work extensively with identity exploration, cultural adjustment, and family dynamics, including therapy with immigrant families, parent training for Chinese families, and counseling for international students.

How I work

My approach is client-centered and strength-based. I believe real change happens when your authentic self is seen, heard, and fully accepted, so I work to create a safe, trusting, non-judgmental space where you can explore both your vulnerabilities and your strengths.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Together, we’ll explore your inner world, recognize subconscious patterns, and build healthy ways of coping, growing your self-awareness and self-acceptance along the way. I believe everyone has inner strength, and it’s my privilege to help you unlock it and to walk with you as you grow.
