About
Hi, I’m Wan-Chen, a licensed psychologist. I see clients in California and Oregon, by video and in person.
I was born and grew up in Taiwan and came to the U.S. for my graduate training. As an international person and a woman of color, I understand how much systemic oppression can affect our intersecting identities and our mental health. I honor your cultural contexts, whether they are a source of pride or of marginalization, as I come to understand your lived experience.
My graduate training was rooted in multicultural competency and social justice, and I trained in hospitals, community centers, and college counseling centers. As a generalist, I’ve dedicated my work to understanding the unique experiences of people from many backgrounds and walking with them through the journey of healing.
