About
Hi, I’m Jeremy, a licensed clinical psychologist. I see clients in California by video.
I’ve spent more than 30 years in human services and have been a licensed psychologist since 2011. Over that time I’ve worked with a diverse group of people facing a wide range of challenges, in settings that include corrections, hospitals, community mental health clinics, and specialized treatment facilities.
How I work
My approach is best described as cognitive behavioral, though I draw on an eclectic range of methods, both in treatment and in understanding what’s going on. My style emphasizes collaboration and direct communication.

Learning to accept, understand, and cope with what can’t be changed
Together, we’ll identify your goals and make a plan to work toward them. We’ll look at what gets in the way of your happiness and well-being, and find ways to overcome the obstacles that can be changed, such as anger, depression, anxiety, trauma, fear, relationship problems, or problematic behavior. At the same time, we’ll work on accepting, understanding, and coping with the ones we realistically can’t change directly, such as chronic medical conditions, aging, questions of mortality and meaning, disability, world events, or being hurt by other people’s behavior.
