Communities We Serve · Veterans & First Responders
Therapy for veterans and first responders, for those who show up for others.
Whether you served in the military or answer the call at home as a firefighter, police officer, paramedic or dispatcher, you've seen and carried things most people never will. Some memories stay close, sleep doesn't come easily, and switching off can feel impossible. Asking for support isn't weakness. It takes the same courage you've always had.
Our clinicians offer evidence-based care for trauma, stress and life after service, in a setting that respects your experience and your privacy. Families are welcome too.
What veterans and first responders often bring to us
These are some of the things people most often bring to us. If what you're carrying isn't listed here, you're just as welcome.
Trauma and PTSD
Nightmares, flashbacks, feeling on edge or numb after what you've seen. Evidence-based trauma therapy can help memories loosen their grip.
The weight of the job
Call after call, little time to process, and a culture that says to keep going. We help you set down what you've been carrying.
Life after service
Missing the structure and purpose of service, finding work that fits, and feeling out of step with people who haven't been there.
Sleep and shift work
Night shifts, irregular hours, nightmares or a body that never fully rests. Sleep is often one of the first things to improve.
Moral injury and guilt
The weight of things you saw, did or couldn't prevent. We make room for these conversations without judgment.
Family and relationships
Reconnecting with a partner and children after deployment, long shifts or time apart. Families can be part of the healing.

Questions veterans and first responders often ask
Something else on your mind? Our FAQ covers much more, and our intake team is always happy to talk it through.
Will my department, employer or command find out?
No. What you share is confidential, and we don't share anything with your department, employer or command without your written permission. The rare exceptions involve serious safety concerns, and your clinician will explain them at your first session.
Do you accept TRICARE or VA Community Care?
Coverage depends on your plan and the clinician. Please ask our intake team: we'll check honestly what's covered before your first session and explain any costs clearly.
Do I need a PTSD diagnosis to start therapy?
No. Many people come for stress, sleep, relationships or a hard transition. You don't need a diagnosis to get support.
Will my therapist understand the culture?
Your clinician will take the time to understand your work or service and what it means to you, and will never push you to share more than you're ready to.
Can my spouse or family get support too?
Yes. We offer individual therapy for spouses and partners, couples therapy, and support for children and teens.
What if I'm in crisis right now?
Please don't wait. Call or text 988 any time, day or night. Veterans can dial 988 and press 1, or text 838255, to reach the Veterans Crisis Line. In an emergency, call 911. We're here for ongoing care once you're safe.
